This section provides a guide to uploading your web site.
For first time users, please read the help section that comes
with your FTP software, or if you are still unsure and need
extra help, please email hosting@DomainNamesGB.com
with your query.
Important information for FrontPage users!
If you have designed your site using Microsoft FrontPage,
we must install FrontPage extensions on your web space. Please
login
to your Control Panel to reqest this before
you upload.
Once the FrontPage extensions have been installed, you must
publish via the option within FrontPage itself. The address
to publish to must be http://www.yourdomainname.co.uk.
If you are not using Front Page and require to upload using
other FTP software, you may download software here for free.

The following FTP example is for WS FTP. After installation
you will be presented with the screen below.
The Host Name/Address should be ftp.yourdomainname.co.uk.
Please substitute the yourdomainname.co.uk for the domain
name you have purchased. User Id's and passwords are case
sensitive with no spaces. The login details you should use
are those which you specified on your registration/upgrade
form.
Once you have logged into your web space, you will then see
the following screen.
The left hand window shows the files on your PC, the right
hand window shows the files in your web space.
Select the files you wish to upload from the left hand window,
and click the -> button. This will upload the files to your
web space.
Please make sure your home page is saved as default.htm or
index.htm (in lower case).
You will also need to delete the two files named index.asp
and default.asp from your webspace in order for your website
to show.
Forms & Guest Books
If you would like to use forms for feedback on your web site,
there are two options. The first uses ASP and can be downloaded
